COURTLAND -- Londery Lee Burden 70, Route 1, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1989, at Humana Hospital, Muscle Shoals.
He was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church, and was retired from the Alabama Highway Department after 30 years of employment.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Courtland United Methodist Church with the Revs. Steve Ashbrook and David Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery, Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton, directing.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Survivors include his wife, Zera Mae Terry Burden, Courtland; daughter, Patricia Guyse, Courtland; brothers, Cortez Burden, Kalamazoo, Mich., Leon Burden, Delaware; sisters, Almeda Smith, Jean Sherrill, Carrie Boyles, all of Moulton, Minnie Lee Terry, Decatur, Christine Thorstenson, Kalamazoo; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Bearers will be Billy Terry, Gay White, Hollis Wehunt, Alvin Patrick, Leonard Lovelady, Charlie Craig, Bill Holder, Walter Witt.
