Cecelia Ann Allandar, of Chinese Camp, wife of W. J. Allandar of that place, died on May 30th at her home there.

The deceased was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1855, but had resided in California for 65 years. Her maiden name was Elliott.

The body ws taken charge of by C. H. Burden, Jr., who will take the remains to Sacramento this Saturday morning, where the funeral will be held at two o'clock this afternoon.

Mrs. Allandar leaves a daughter, Mrs. Elsie V. Stuart, of Chinese Camp, and a son, David Crowe, in Sacramento.

She was also the mother of Clara and Merton Crowe, both passing away in 1890.

By 1900, Cecelia had given birth to nine children, but just six were living by the 1900 census. She was widowed, and five of her children were living with her:

Elsie B Crowe, 15 Daughter
Clarence A Crowe, 9 Son
Leland R Crowe, 6 Son
Hattie B Crowe, 3 Daughter
Her daughter, Marietta Crowe Collins, was married and a mother.

About 1903, Cecelia married Thomas Turnbull Rees. He passed away on 2 Mar 1920, in Plumas County. The census was taken on January 23, 1920, and indicates that he was working in a gold mine. They were living in the township of Mineral.
