Allen A. Oakley was a confederate soldier who died at the Battle of Chickamauga. As with many civil war casualties, it's impossible to know where they were buried. However, there's a good chance that Allen's remains were eventually laid to rest in the Confederate Soldier section of the Marietta City Cemetery.
