Hopper, Dorothy Margaret Axelsen, 92, 6/3/1917 - 7/14/2009 - Dorothy Hopper was born in Portland on June 3, 1917. She attended Washington High School. She married Herman Hugh Hopper on July 24, 1944. They had two children, Gerald Lee and Linda Christine. Dorothy's son, Gerald, died while serving the country in Vietnam in 1967. She is survived by her daughter, Linda. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA); Greenpeace; or Hospice of Bend.
