Jemenda Bede McClarty Collins, 65, a native of Franklin, LA and resident of Fresno, TX, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin, LA, with rosary being recited at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow mass services in the St. Jules Catholic Church Cemetery.

She will be greatly missed by her children: Desiree (Darius) Bradley and Gerald Collins, Jr. of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren: Darius, Jr., Deonc and Daniel Bradley; Gerald, III, Alexis, Angel, Alaric, and Chrislyn Collins; two great grandchildren; four sisters: Betty (Keith) Johnson of Manhattan, NY; Jervaise Larry and Delilah McClarty of Lafayette, LA; DeAngeria McClarty of Atlanta, GA; five brothers: Kenneth (Faye) McClarty and Dallas McClarty of Franklin, LA; Richard J. III (Shirley) of Baker LA; Gordon (Linda) McClarty of Reserve, LA; John Anthony (Paula) of Wake Forest, NC; three brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law as well as a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Berkman J., her sister, Belva Broussard and an infant sister.
