Thomas Louis Hackley, 61 of Buckner, Mo passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO 64016 with visitation to follow until 6:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Greenton Cemetery in Odessa, MO. Tom was born July 31, 1961 in Austin, TX to John and Barbara (Loy) Hackley; they moved to Odessa, MO shortly after he was born. Tom had attended schools in Odessa and Oak Grove and had also attended Wentworth Military Academy from 1978-1980 and had served in the US Army Reserves for a number of years. He received a bachelor's degree from Northeast Missouri State. He had worked as a computer technician for Gateway Computers from 1995-2005. He enjoyed politics and watching CNN, was an animal lover and an avid video gamer. Survivors include; his wife, K'Lynn of the home; a daughter, Taya Hackley of Independence, MO; 3 sons, Griffen Hackley of Buckner, MO, Brenden Hackley and Seth Hackley both of Independence, MO and 3 grandchildren, Malachi, Rylie and Dio.
