Charlotte M. Lampe of Maplewood, Minnesota, passed away on April 8, 2017, at Our Lady of Peace Hospice in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She was born on April 30, 1945, on the family farm near Arlington, Minnesota, to Reinhold and Emma (Neubarth) Lampe.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Darlene, Karen (Arlyn) Boll, and Eleanor (John) Paulmann, and is survived by sister, Janice (Ronald) Renneke of Fulda, Minnesota, and twin sister Charlene Thoemke of Roseville, Minnesota, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A University of Minnesota and Century College graduate, she retired in 2010 from 3M Corporation after 34 years. She was 3M's Princess Representative to the St. Paul Winter Carnival, and was crowned its 1971 "Queen of the Snows." She actively continued her Winter Carnival affiliation and membership with the Former Queens' organization. Golf was her passion, and she also enjoyed singing with the "3M Music Makers," traveling, snowshoeing, reading, and volunteering. However, family was always her first love.

A visitation was held on Friday evening, April 21, 2017, at Mueller Memorial in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and her memorial service was held on Saturday morning, April 22, 2022, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in North St. Paul, Minnesota.

Her family wishes to acknowledge St. John's Cancer Care Center, Health East Hospice and Our Lady of Peace Hospice for the care Charlotte received during her final months.
