After a short battle with a respiratory infection, Vera passed away peacefully while holding her daughter on Friday morning. Vera had a mostly healthy life but spent her last few years in the wonderful care of St. Vincent's Langara. Vera was an almost life long member of the TOPS weight loss group and treasured her friends from the group. A gathering of family and friends is to be held at the family home on Thursday, October 10th at noon. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Vincent's Langara. The family will advise of the date when confirmed.
