Patricia J. Koch, age 92, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Our House Assisted Living.

Patricia was born on August 1, 1930 in Wisconsin Rapids to George and Alice (Young) Kester. Patricia married Elmer Koch on June 11, 1949 in Wisconsin Rapids. They were blessed with 41 years of marriage before his passing on June 5, 1991.

Patricia was an exceptional home maker and loved cooking and baking for her family especially on Thanksgiving and Christmas. She will always be known for her fruit cake, Christmas cookies and her famous chicken dumpling soup. She always put her boys and grandchildren first, they meant everything to her.

In her younger years she enjoyed working at County Market being a food demo lady, and liked the relationships she made with the regular customers. She also volunteered with dances and other events for ODC and was a member of the Red Hat group. Patricia was proud of her Norwegian Heritage and was a member of the Sons of Norway for over 30 years, she even traveled to her home land Norway and Germany.

Patricia is survived by her four sons: Randall (Cynthia) Koch, Dennis (Shirley) Koch, Scott (Dawn) Koch and Todd (Tammy) Koch; grandchildren: Nicholas, Danny, Bradly, Kitt, Shane, Heather, Renée, Darcie, Bernard and Devyn; siblings: Shirley Manning, Roger (Patricia) Kester, Sherry (Daniel) Cheatle, Sandy Garcia and Gregory (Laurie) Kester; step-grandchildren: Jacob and April; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, sister Nancy (Jack) Merkler; brothers-in-law: James Manning and George Garcia. She is further preceded by her dog Ciera.
