Otho Smith a resident of the Valley, passed February 12, after an attatack of pneumonia following influenza, at the home of D.K. Lindsay near Weiser where he was working. Mr. Smith came from Kansas about seven years ago and has been in the employ of Mr. Lindsay most of the time since. He was a hard-working,highly-respected young man who was liked by all who knew him. He leaves two brothers, Alfred and Kirk, both residents here. Internment was made in the Indian Valley cemetery on February 13. Service were conducted by Rev. McDonald of Cambridge.
