W.R. Adams, Jr.
Suffolk- Willie R. Adams, Jr., 31, of Wilson Street, passed away on Sunday in a Norfolk hospital.
He was employed by the Smithfield Packing Company.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys W. Adams; a daughter, Miss Cynthia Adams; four sons, Brian, Willie R. and Thomas Adams and Joseph Whitehead; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Willie R. Adams, Sr.; and a brother, Jimmy Adams, all of Suffolk; and four sisters, Misses Shirley and Vanessa Adams, both of Suffolk, and Miss Ava Adams of Texas and Miss Charlotte Adams of Germany.
A funeral will be conducted at 3:30PM on Friday at the Metropolitan Baptist Church by the Rev. M.R. Boone. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8PM in Crocker Funeral Home.
