Arthur Decator Holliday, AKA Doc Holliday, was pronounced dead, January 12, 1953, at the Norton county hospital, at the age of 78 years and 13 days.
He was born three miles northeast of Long Island, Kansas, December 29, 1874, to Mr. and Mrs. Commodore Holiday.
Doc was preceded in death by his father, mother, three sisters, Belle, May and Leota, and brother Clyde. He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Cora Montonye of Milton, and Freewater, Oregon, Mrs. Bertha Nash of Norton, Kansas, Mrs. Alda Seegrist of Compton, California, two brothers, Murphy of Almena, and Roy of Huntington Beach, California and many nephew and nieces.
