Charles Christian Oldenburg, age 95, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and pastor, went home to be with his Lord on January 23, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-seven years, Fay Evelyn Oldenburg. Charles is survived by his son, Charles Dwain Oldenburg and his wife Genie; daughters, Nancy A. Hebert, and Wilma Fay Willert and her husband Tim; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Charles was a loving pastor, and joyfully served in hospital and prison ministries.
Visitation was on Friday, January 25, 2008, at Earthman Southwest Chapel. Funeral Service was on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Calvary Church in Stafford, followed by interment at Woodlawn Garden of Memories in Houston.
