He is preceded in death by his infant son Dustin Hackemack, and mother, Barbara Okey.
He is survived by his son, Richard Hackemack (Dana); sisters, Leslie Ryan (Tony) and Andrea Geary (David), and father, Robert Hackemack (Jean). He was a proud and loving uncle to a niece, nephews, and great-nephews, and a loving nephew to an uncle, aunt, and many cousins.
Hack was a strong man who never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. He was loud and proud, one of a kind and you will never meet anybody like him. He was a proud member of the Local 70 Union Iron Workers. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding his Harley, hunting, and fishing. His love for his family and many friends runs deep, and with a heart of gold, his sense of humor touched so many. He is someone you will NEVER forget. While his struggle on earth at times was real, he would have celebrated 11 years of sobriety this October 7th. He enjoyed Mass and activities at Incarnation Catholic Church and his everlasting love for the Lord was never-ending. May he rest in the comforting arms of his Savior.
Visitation is Wednesday, 2-7 pm with a celebration of life to follow at 7 pm.
