Opal Tarvin Bohannon, age 79, of LaFayette passed away Friday, September 2, 2022.
Opal worked for Highland Loan Comp. for over 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 24 years, Bob Bohannon.
Opal is survived by her stepsons, Lee (Katie) Bohannon of Rock Spring, and Rob (Felicia) Bohannon of Davenport, Iowa; step-grandchildren, Jordan Green, Lesslie Bohannon, and Abbey Renfrow all of Rock Spring, Brycen Bohannon, Braeden Bohannon, and Brendin Bohannon all of Davenport, Iowa; sisters, Vera Bridges of Dalton, Maxine Foutz of Tunnel Hill, and Evelyn Carr of LaFayette; and brother, Keith Tarvin of LaFayette; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 6th at 3pm with Minister Terry York and Bro: David Thompson officiating.
Interment in Trinity Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Greg Bridges, Joey Carr, Kelley Martin, Chris Green, Tyler Rhudy, and Kenny Burton.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5pm to 8pm.
