Born at Lafayette, he was a life resident of this area. He lived at 7550 Americus Rd. In 1963 he was married here to Opal Logston Taylor, a nurses aid at Indiana Veterans Home. Mr. Rock was employed as a truck driver at Verplank Concrete and Supply Co, 20 years, retiring in January 1976. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 1529, and Teamsters Union, Local 543. Surviving with the widow are a son, Clarence Edward Rock Jr and three daughters, Mrs. Edward [Patricia] Ausban, Mrs. Marie House and Mrs. Steven [Cheryl] Albertson, all of Lafayette; and one brother, Howard Rock of Rockfield.
