Travis Stevens, 33, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, from an apparent medical event. Memorial visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2022, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. A private family interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sioux Falls.
Travis Stevens, son of Thomas Stevens and Jeanette "Jenny" Squires was born August 30, 1989, in Sioux Falls. He graduated from Tea High School with the class of 2008. Travis enjoyed doing concert setups and security at the District in Sioux Falls. He has been employed with Avera for the last five years. Travis has always loved the thrill of racing, four-wheeling, and kayaking. He was the kind of guy who always tried to be there for his friends and family. He had two pit bulls named Nico and Zara. Above all he loved spending time with his son, Axten who was the light of his life.
Left to cherish his memory are his mom, Jenny Stevens of Lennox, SD; son, Axten Stevens of Sioux Falls; siblings, David (Amanda) Davis of Sioux Falls, Chase Stevens of Sioux Falls, and Tahnya Cuautle of Redwing, MN; grandpa, David Squires of Albert Lea, MN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Thomas Stevens.
