David H. Gephart, 91, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of the West Newton area, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, in Mesa, Ariz. Born in Elizabeth, March 2, 1911, he was a son of the late Henry B. and Jenny (Hamilton) Gephart. Mr. Gephart was retired from USX Donora Works and was a State Farm Insurance agent for many years. He was a member of the Hedstrom Memorial Baptist Church in Cheektowaga, N.Y., and a former member of the Mentor Road Bible Church. He is survived by his wife, Vera (Momeyer) Gephart; three sons and daughters-in-law; three sisters, Alice Tobin of East McKeesport, Janet Ashton of Elizabeth and Elva Davenport of Elizabeth Township; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Henry and Calvin Gephart; and four sisters, Katherine Hines, Ruth Puckey, Margaret Gephart and Pearl Gephart. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Round Hill Cemetery Chapel, Elizabeth Township. Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
