VISITOR SUCCUMBS AT ORRELL HOME
John Wesley Pittman of Chiefland, Fla., died following a heart attack this morning at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Orrell, 142 North Adele, where he and his wife arrived yesterday for a visit.
Born in Baxley, Ga. 49 years ago, Mr. Pittman was a veteran of World War I. He was in the turpentine business in Chiefland.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Orrell Pittman, two sons, John Wesley Pittman, Jr., U. S. Navy, and G. William Pittman of Willston; his father, C. D. Pittman of Daytona Beach; three sisters, Mrs. Floa Sykes of Daytona Beach, Mrs. Frankie Deen of Trenton, and Mrs. Ethyl Pellicier of Bunnell; and a brother, Joe Pittman of Seville.
Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements, which are incomplete.
