SPARKS, Albert - age 91 of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday January 20, 2020. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late George and Minnie (Cameron) Sparks. Albert's career as a retail grocery store manager spanned many years. He enjoyed his hobbies of bird watching, woodworking and gardening.

Albert will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters; Carol Sparks (Clovie LeBlanc), Donna Sparks (Greg Duff), Cathy Nederend (John). Grampie will be greatly missed by his seven grandchildren; Marni Aikens (Ray), Allison Mac Donald (Sean), Kelsi Campbell (Aaron), Jason Duff, Jacob Nederend (Lauren), Elizabeth Nederend, Matthew Nederend and his five great grandchildren. He is also survived by stepsons Barry (Danita) and John Cahoon and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by his wives Vera (Bates) and Olive (Campbell), brothers Gordon, Leonard, Clifton and Sam, sisters, Louise Macleod, Elizabeth Smith and Edith Llewellyn, and grandsons, Adam Duff and Ryan Nederend.

In accordance with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and the burial will follow in the spring at Middle Stewiake Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or charity of choice. Online condolences may be sent to: www.mattatallfuneralhome.com
