Larry graduated from Reitz High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in 1967-1968. He retired from Bristol Myers after 30 years. Larry was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1114, the National Rifle Association and the Red Brush Gun Club. He was a longtime and active member of Bethel United Church of Christ
Larry is survived by his sister, Shirley (Karoll) Kolb; nephews, Keith (Tracey) Kolb and Kraig (Stephanie) Kolb; niece, Kimberley (Tony) Amos; and sister-in-law, Leanna Reece.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Appman; and brother, Robert Reece.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2022. Visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the funeral home. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Sam Buehrer officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery with military honors.
