Florence Lucille Rowe (nee Miciek) passed away on September 6, 2022 at the age of 91.

She was the loving wife of William Rowe for 66 years and the loving mother of Marilyn Merritt and her husband, Paul (Sonny), of Augusta Georgia, Clare Rowe and her partner, Quince Hopkins, of Baltimore, MD, Amy Ruymann and her husband, Andy, of Medford, NJ, Tom Rowe and his wife, Daniela, of Darnestown, MD and Nancy Rowe-Kane and her husband, Michael of Westfield, NJ. Florence was the dearly loved grandmother of nine grandchildren, Alton Finley, III, Will Finley, Barry Thomas Finley, Katie Ruymann, Jenny Ruymann, Francesca Rowe, Tatiana Rowe, Belle Kane, and Grace Kane and eight great-grandchildren Margaret, James, Benjamin, Camille, Edgar, Lorna, Joan and Nora.

Florence was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey and graduated from Battin High School. She majored in speech therapy at Montclair State University and participated in student theater, the school newspaper and served as student body Vice-President.

After graduation, Florence became a speech instructor in Boonton NJ and Arlington County, VA and switched careers to become a TWA Stewardess based out of Boston in the early days of commercial flight.

Florence met the love of her life, Bill Rowe, in 1954 on a vacation in Kailua, Hawaii on the island of Oahu, where Bill was stationed as a Marine. They married in 1956. Bill and Florence raised their family in Westfield NJ and later lived in Wilmington, NC and Aiken, SC and most recently in Marlton, NJ.

Florence was a devoted mother and was very involved in her children's activities, supporting their academic, extracurricular and professional endeavors throughout her life. She was founder and/or participant in many book clubs over the years and enthusiastically pursued a healthy lifestyle and her passion for vegetarian cooking.

Florence found strength in her Catholic faith most recently as a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic parish in Marlton, NJ. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bill, her parents and her loving siblings Raymond, Edward, and Helen.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday September 11th from 3- 4pm at Bradley Funeral Home, Marlton, NJ. There will be a funeral mass on Monday, September 12th at 11 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Marlton NJ.

Donations may be made in Florence's memory to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
