s/o Eleanor (Campbell) Robbins Beliveau and Frederick Sumner Robbins; h/o Jean (Morley) Robbins

He attended Lynn Public Schools and was a graduate of the New England School of Photography. He enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country during World War II from February 9, 1939, until his honorable discharge on November 13, 1943. He worked for many years as a manufacturer's representative and salesman in the wholesale automotive business.

Fred and his wife, Jean, moved to West Newbury in 1969 where they raised their daughter. Fred's greatest joy in life was providing for and protecting his family; he was fiercely independent. He also enjoyed working with his hands, building dollhouse furniture, ship models, and clocks. He was an avid collector of antiques and spent countless hours restoring and maintaining his antique home. He was a wealth of knowledge on antiques (especially clocks), antique homes, and local history. He was proud to be a member of The General Society of Mayflower Descendants and had a keen interest in genealogy.

He leaves behind his only daughter, and his pride and joy; his granddaughter.
