Patsy Ann Binnie was born April 4, 1937, to Edward and Myrtle (Van Wee) Haynie in Elgin, Illinois.
After graduating from Elgin High School, she received her associate degree from Elgin Community College and worked as the office administrator for Elgin Federal Savings.
Patsy married ___ Binnie on June 28, 1958, at the Dundee Congregational Church in Dundee, Illinois. The couple moved to Goose Lake in 1973, where they raised four sons.
Pat owned and operated The Country Corner gift and craft shop in Clinton for many years.
She and __ both retired March 1, 1997.
After retiring, she began making beautiful handmade thinking-of-you and birthday cards that were enjoyed by many.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at First Congregational U.C.C. in DeWitt, with visitation for one hour prior. Pastor Chris Marlin-Warfield will officiate. Private interment will be at Elvira Cemetery at a later.
Memorials may be made to the Low Moore Lions for dementia research.
