Inscription

Monumentum Sepulchral e Johannis Bell de Archland. Pallida mors aequo pulsat pede pauperum tabernas regumq turres. Post obitum benefacta manent, aeternaq; virtus omnia praetereunt praeter amare Deum.

(Grave Monument of John Bell of Archland. Pale Death with impartial foot knocks at the cottages of the poor and the palaces of kings. Good deeds transcend death and virtue surpasses everything but the love of God.)

Gravesite Details

Was apparently originally on the wall of the church on the south side but is now sitting on the ground, leaning against wall of the church. Probably had more to it originally, as no date.
