Bradley William Larsen (age11) died in a tragic duck hunting accident near Nelson, CA on October 27, 1966. He was born in Long Beach, CA on July 2, 1955 and had resided in Paradise, CA four years.

Brad was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Church Guide Patrol and played on the Paradise Little League. He was a 6th grader at Paradise Elementary School and students there are collecting funds for a drinking fountain in memory of their schoolmate. The memorial fountain is to be located on the school playground. School principal, Ellis Harms, says that anyone interested in donating to the fund may do it through the school office.

Surviving are his parents, Dr. L. Charles and Vera Hatch Larsen, his brother Robert and a sister, Linda Lee, all from Paradise; his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Percy Larsen from Fallon, NV, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hatch from Fallon.

Services were conducted Saturday, October 29 at the Latter Day Saints Church by Bishop Garth Fairbanks. Pallbearers were Melvin Corry, Lloyd Cope, Owen Coleman, Calvin McKay, Dan Lott and Alonzo Plumb.

Burial was in Paradise Cemetery.
