Betty passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Denison Care Center, attaining the age of ninety-one years and one day. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Isaiah Johnson; former husband, Emil F. Segebart Sr.; son Emil "Rick" F. Segebart Jr.; son-in- law Curtis Bauer; brothers: John, Joe, Richard, and Charles Smith.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Kathleen Bauer of Denison, Julie and her husband Mark Sippel of Galva, and Angelia and her husband John Granzen of Denison; one son Eric Johnson of Denison; 26 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Vail with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery in Denison. Memorials may be directed to the family
