Born, July 23, 1911 in Westport, Indiana, he was the son of Frank Milton Bower and Nettie Jane (Robbins) Bower.
He worked on the New York Central Railroad most of his life. He later worked for American Lifts for 8 years before retiring.
He was married to Florine L. Clark on May 2, 1933 and she preceded him in death on June 11, 1987.
He is survived by 1 son, Jerry L. Bower, Greensburg; 1 daughter, Judy Robbins, Greensburg; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 1 brother, Russell Bower, 1 son, Ora Bower, and 1 granddaughter, Shannon Bower.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2006 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Jeffery Bower officiating
Internment will be held at South Park Cemetery.
