Loving wife, mother and grandmother who fought many illnesses and injuries until the end of her life. She loved God first then her family above all else. She devoted what little energy she had towards the end of her life to the love of her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her Lucille Ball red hair, big glasses and an even bigger heart. To know her was to love her. She welcomed strangers like old friends into her life. Even when bedridden, her first concern was for others. Her husband Edward took care of her at home for over 16 years after she suffered a major stroke at the age of 57. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Edward Grice, their sons James (JJ) Grice and his partner Dennis Kuziak, Ron Grice and his wife Carrie and their children Carlie and Cameron, Robert Grice and his wife Susan and their children Aaron and Hannah, and Shelley Seitz and her husband David and their son Brian. Her closest and youngest sister Evelyn Lockard (please visit her memorial)
died in 1981 at the age of 41 of cervical cancer. Dolores and her family were quite close to Evelyn, "Evie" as they called her. Dolores was a HUGE fan of Elton John and attended several of his concerts with her husband and sons. We miss her terribly. She left holes in our hearts that will never heal.
