Age 72 of West St. Paul passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Preceded in death by parents, Howard and Bernice; and brother, Thomas Brown. Survived by [living relatives omitted]; along with many other special family and friends.

In earlier years, Marlene held various jobs from working in bars & restaurants, managing food service kitchens, managing apartment buildings, and directing resident relations & activities in senior living facilities. She loved being around people, hearing their stories and telling her own stories.

Marlene led her life by selflessly giving, helping, and caring for others, all with a spiritual grounding. She had an infectious sense of humor, was extremely funny and made friends easily wherever she went. Her family and friends were very important to her. She had an especially close relationship with her granddaughters, as she lived only blocks from them and spent time with them daily. Her free spirit and zest for life will be greatly missed!

Memorial Mass 11 am on Tuesday, April 12th at the Church of St. Matthew, 510 Hall Avenue @ Robie Street in St. Paul with a Gathering 1 hour prior to the Mass. Luncheon following.
