She was born October 18, 1932, in Leachville, AR, to Sam and Irene Hyde. Colatha married Billy E. Marshall of East Prairie, MO on May 3, 1952. They made their home in East Prairie, where they were active members of the First Church of God. She enjoyed her years working at the National Lock Company in Sikeston, MO and was a talented quilter. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Mark and Meredith Marshall of Keller, TX. Grandchildren, Brittany Urash, Jacob Skyles, Nicholas Marshall and Leah Jane Gorman; brothers, John Hyde and Huey Hyde; and sister, Bonita Slate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy; daughters, Connie Dickerson and Billie Ann McCloskey; grandsons, Matthew Dickerson and Hayden Reed; brothers, Wesley Hyde, Sam Hyde, Jr, Norris Hyde, Jerome Hyde and sisters, Aline Nelson, Bonnie Hyde, Lynnie Crittendon and Dorris Elders.
Colatha was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed.
Graveside services held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
