David Abercrombie, age 72, of Villa Rica, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022. He was born October 29, 1949, son of the late Mr. Roy Abercrombie and the late Mrs. Minnie Faye Leathers Abercrombie. Mr. Abercrombie enjoyed listening to music, fishing, gardening, sports, especially NASCAR. He loved his family and his beloved dog Daisy.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Rachelle Glenn; daughter, Tara Glenn; brothers, William Joe Abercrombie, Charles Michael "Mike" Abercrombie, James Stewart Abercrombie; sisters, Evelyn Faye Humphries, Martha Ruth Lowery, Madeline Marie Abercrombie.
He is survived by daughter, Tammy (James) Caldwell, Nicole Fogarty; son, John Glenn; brother, Roy McDonald "Donald" Abercrombie, Robert Samuel "Sammy" Abercrombie; grandchildren, Tristin Caldwell and Brannon Caldwell.
Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn funeral home in Villa Rica on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica at 2:00 PM with Terry Marbut Officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery in Villa Rica.
