Amos H. McKenzie, age 77 of Tellico Plains, passed away 1:50 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2006 at his home.

Survivors: wife of 56 years, Anna Mae McKenzie; children and spouses, Wanda Wear, Madisonville; Susan and Larry Freeman, Englewood; Lois Garren, Madisonville; Sharon and Doug Moody, Niota; Patricia Swanson, Tellico Plains; Wayne and Terri McKenzie, Madisonville; Roger and Audrey Mc-Kenzie, Sunbright; John McKenzie, Tellico Plains; Pam and Jody White, Sweetwater; 24 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Austin McKenzie and wife Mazel, Tellico Plains; Enos Mc-Kenzie, Knoxville; Dorthy Icenhower, Robbinsville, NC; Kitty Kirkland, Maryville; Janie Stephens, Reliance; Jim McKenzie, Somerset, CA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. R.L. Davis, Rev. Ollie Lankford officiating. Interment in Unicoi Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
