Carolina Rose Bullington, infant daughter of Alice and Lee Bullington, was born and died Dec. 11 at Providence Hospital. A funeral was held at Witzleben Family Funeral Homes, Sixth Avenue Chapel with Rev. Luke Kontgas of Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church officiating. She was buried at the Anchorage Municipal Cemetery in the spring.

Her parents said, "Carolina Rose brought the joys and pain of a lifetime to her family and friends within a few hours. She taught the real meaning of love, life and death to those around her. She is loved and will be missed." She is survived by her parents; her two sisters, Diamonda and Alexandra; her paternal grandparents, Carolyn Pico and Forrest, all of Anchorage; her maternal grandparents, Gus and Janice Rodes, of Kenai; her paternal great- grandfather, Robert Pico, of Los Angeles; her paternal great-grandmother, Bertha Spendlove, of Hurricane, Utah; and her maternal great-grandmother, Ruey Brooks, of St. Louis, Mo. Her family has suggested memorials to the Providence Health Care Foundation for the Kuddle Korps, 3200 Providence Drive, Anchorage 99508.
