Born Aug. 5, 1907, in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Irene (Redelman) McConnell. She married Edward B. Hardebeck on June 4, 1930, and he died July 27, 1968.
Mrs. Hardebeck was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Society at St. Maurice Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Donald E. Hardebeck, Shelbyville; six daughters, Linda L. Wright, Shelbyville, Doris J. Hardebeck, Waldron, Virginia M. Jackson, St. Paul, Mary M. Davis and Barbara Joan Arnett, Greensburg, and Georgiana R. Jackson, Mooresville; 18 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg, with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Maurice Catholic Church, St. Maurice, with the Rev. Jonathan Stewart officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurice Cemetery, St. Maurice.
