Born, August 29, 1920 in Westport, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles and Gail (Bennett) Bishop.
She was married first to Charles Edward Ewing and he preceded her in death. She then married George Coy on February 17, 1969 and he preceded her in death on August 27, 1989.
She was a former waitress.
She is survived by 4 sons, Paul Ewing, Connersville, In., Lewis Ewing, Greensburg, John Ewing, Greensburg, Charles W. Ewing, Greensburg; 1 daughter, Carol J. Lawrence, Beech Grove, In.; 2 brothers, Wilford "Bud" Bishop, Westport, Charles Bishop, Jr., Arizona; 1 sister, Lenora Bennington, Connersville, In.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands; 1 brother, James Bishop; 1 sister, Martha Bishop.
Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2003 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Graveside Service will be held at the Star Baptist Cemetery in Decatur Co., Indiana on Friday after the visitation.
