Brian was born April 21, 1969 in Decatur, IL, the son of George and Connie (Moreland) Covey. He married Shawnet Lofton February 2, 2022 in Decatur, IL.
Brian was a plant operator for Evergreen. Brian loved sports and will be remembered for being a Cardinal baseball fan and Cowboys football fan.
Surviving are his wife, Shawnet; mother, Connie Baker ( William ) of Decatur, IL, children, Kylie Covey of Davenport, IA, Dontrez Harper of Decatur, IL, Malijha Harper of Decatur, IL, Dashawn Lofton of Decatur, IL, Mariah Covey of Decatur, IL and brother, Jeremy Covey (Erin) of Oak Grove, MO.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Covey; grandparents and brother, Dan Covey.
Graveside memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Graceland Cemetery.
