Burial followed in the Buchanan City Cemetery. Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel was in charge of the services.

He was born December 26, 1960, in Haralson County. He was the son of Noel Edward Cook, Sr., of Buchanan and the late Edris June Lee Cook. Mr. Cook was self-employed as the owner of a pressure washing business.
Besides his father, Mr. Cook is survived by two children, Molly and Mitchell Cook of Heflin; one sister, Belinda Smith of Ranburne; one brother, Noel E. "Eddie" Cook of Buchanan.
Pallbearers were Lee Smith, Chase Hulsey, Reid Cook, Tyler Newborn, Keith McBrayer, Richard White, and Blake Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Jeffers, Homer Cook, Sterling Cook, and O'Neal Cook.
