He was an Army Veteran, a retired Electrician for Giles County Board of Education and preceded in death by his parents, sisters Irene Matthews, Ruth Harrell Hargrove, Martha Strickland, Mary Hollingsworth, brothers, Loyd Milton "Mutt" Edde, Roy C. Edde, William Earl Edde, James Dalton "JD" Edde.
Survivors include his wife; two sons; daughter; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday October 3, 2022 from 5-8pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 3pm Tuesday October 4, 2022 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
