Anna E. Worrall, 84

DOVER - Anna E. Worrall passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was born in Dover on July 28, 1937, the daughter of the late Horace Worrall and Annie Biddle.

Anna was born again Christian and her faith was her true strength. She was a Registered Nurse and loved taking care of her patients. She worked at the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna for many years until her retirement. She often referred to her patients as her babies. Anna enjoyed family gatherings because they included seeing family members and good food. She also loved to read, paint, sew, eat out, and drink coffee.

She is survived by her brother, H. Frederick Worrall of Dover; sister, Ethel (Dollie) Thomas of Dover; friend, Robert Werner of Felton; son, Walter Bishop of Magnolia; daughters, Robin Malascalza (Bishop) of Frankford, and Cheryl Werner of Dover; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover, funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Dover.
