Age 91, of Fairview, PA, born on the family farm, to the late John and Anna Galuska Sabol. In his younger years, he served as trustee of his church, enjoyed gardening and golf. George was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving six years in the Naval Construction Battalion Seabees. He was a service repairman of medical equipment for the American Sterilizer Company for 37 years until his retirement. George was a member of the Buick Club of America.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his siblings, Andrew Sabol, Martin Sabol, Marion Sabol Cahill, Emily Sabol Maxson, and Anne Sabol.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Serb Sabol; his children, Brenda Sabol Strawn (John Innocenzi), Andrew Sabol (Amy), and David Sabol (Lumi); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
