Mildred Brown died at Monticello Nursing Home in Mt. Carmel on August 23 at 12:50 a.m. following a lengthy illness. She had resided in this vicinity her entire life.
She was born in Indiana on February 18, 1903; the daughter of John William Price and Frances Ramsey Price.
She was married to Rollie Brown on September 10, 1921 in Walbash County.
Surviving are two sons, Gene Ray Brown, Taylorville, Ill., and John William Brown; and one brother, Hubert Price, Mt. Carmel; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, were her parents, husband, three brothers, Stanley, Hulbert, Howard; and two sisters, Mrs. Fern Shoaf and Mrs. Leota Briner.
She was member of the Church of God.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, August 24, at 4 p.m. in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
