Zachary S. Orheim, age 34, of Wisconsin Rapids, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at his home.

Zach was born on August 25, 1988 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He was part of the 2007 graduating class of Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids and was employed at Mariani Packing Co. He loved spending time with his family and his cats Oliver, Georgie and Willow. He also enjoyed going fishing for salmon or musky. He cherished having a morning coffee with his grandpa and riding around Lake Wazeecha with him listening to all his stories. Zach also had a love for music. He would always be looking for new songs and was the DJ when we would sit around the firepit. He enjoyed cooking on the grill and sharing a good meal with his parents. Zach had a huge heart and would always help anyone out whenever he could. He cared deeply for his Grandparents, caring for his Grandpa when he got sick and bringing his grandma flowers and visiting with her.

He had a strong faith in God and found comfort in reading and studying the bible and he knew it from beginning to end. He enjoyed attending Crossview Church.

He had a special bond with his Mom and loved her dearly always giving her a hug and a kiss and telling her he loved her. He was the best caregiver and helper to many people. The only thing he ever wanted to do is help others by buying and cooking food when he knew they didn't have enough or paying for a stranger's items in a grocery store line when they were short.

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to Angels without knowing it.

Hebrews 13:2

Zachary is survived by his parents, Carolyn (Chris) Knuteson; grandmother, Jeanette Orheim; Aunt Clara; Aunt Patty; Uncle Bob; Uncle Troy; Aunt Robin; Aunt Shannon; special cousins, Matt Orheim and Kristen Orheim; special friend, Lindsey Ketelle; Godson, Jacob Orheim; beloved cats, Oliver, Georgie, Willow and many other loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Orheim and great-grandmother Mildred Kaquatosh and many Great Aunts and Uncles.

A Funeral Service will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.

Rest in Heavenly peace my sweet boy, my love for you is so deep. And I would choose you in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds and I would find you and choose you to be my son……until we meet again.
