Scott served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed being with his kids. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, playing computer games, snow boarding, skiing, riding motorcycles, bike riding, drawing, and fishing with his kids.
He is survived by his spouse Rebecca Althea Rather, his father Steve Rather and mother Rachel Rather. His son Matthew Lane Rather, daughter MaKennah Paige Rather, sister Debbie A. Rather Fierro, nephews Arthur Ray and Brandon Scott Murrieta, and Michael and Joshua Fierro.
Scott was a very sensitive person, loving and always wanting to take care of other people.
He had many adventures and he will go on with his adventures!
Visitation will be held 10 AM - 11 AM Sunday, October 16th, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Prayer Service will to follow at 11 AM - 1 PM. Graveside services will be held 9 AM - 10 AM Monday, October 17th, 2022 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia.
