Mr. Damon Michael Williams entered into time, marching toward eternity, February 2, 1968, at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, Michigan. Damon was the first-born son of grateful parents, Bennie Lee Jr. and Connette Williams. From an early age Damon gravitated toward learning, books over sports. Sharing and concern for others was an innate gift he freely exercised. Quick wit and comedic ability made him a people magnet. The gift of "GAB" Damon could converse with the best, be versed in the topic matter, and be convincing when he had no idea. A strong, fierce love for family: (His greatest attribute!!). Ever the giver, ask any of his nephews. Ironically, boys were dominant in our family. Later in his life he was blessed with a niece, (Katilyn). Due to circumstances of this life, he had nieces he never met. Ashley, Jasmine and Kayla. Damon's education began in the Flint Public School System at Brownell Elementary School. Family relocation enrolled him in the Grand Blanc Michigan Public School System, there he finished high school. Then: The unexpected happened. Damon relocated to Ohio and enrolled in Ohio State University. (smh) to those of you wondering this is Michigan Country. Go Blue!!! Of divided country, some Spartans. Mr. Damon Michael Williams leaves to cherish his memory his dearly loved cat Gigi, his Father, Elder Bennie Lee Williams Jr. of Flint Twp., MI; brother, Daryl Lynn (Tina) Williams Sr. of Troy, OH; sister, Bridge Denise Taylor of Chicago, IL; grandmother, Hazel Lee Williams of Flint; aunts, Assist.
