John Peaslee, third son of Joseph, son of Joseph, born February 25,
1679, entered his intention of marriage with Mary Martin of Amesbury
March 22, 1 704-5. They were married at the house of Thomas Barnard,
in Amesbury, "where a meeting was held for the occasion," and forty-
seven persons witnessed the ceremony. The children of this union,
recorded in Haverhill, were Joseph, born March 7, 1705-6 ; John, born
December 9, 1707 ; Sarah, born February 20, 1708-9 ; Jacob, May 11,
1710 ; Nathan, September 20, 1711 ; , born April 2, 1713.

John Peaslee, Jr., second son of John, had a wife Lydia. Their
daughter Sarah was born May 11, 1734 ; their son Timothy, August 20,
1735; and John, February 18, 1736.
