ERNEST F. BILTZ, 84

Ernest F. Biltz, 84, East Central Avenue, Greensburg, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 1988, in the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born June 26, 1904, in Oak Forest, Ind., the son of William John and Annabell Biltz. He married Helen "Patti" Mullendore, who died June 6, 1982. He was the former owner and operator of the Grill Cafe, on the east side of the square, and was also retired from the State Sales Tax Division, where he was an auditor. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Knights of St. John, the Eagles Lodge, and the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by four sons, Bill and Tom Biltz, both of Camby, Ind., Bob Biltz, Indianapolis, and Jim Biltz, Greensburg; one son-in-law, Ross Smith, Batesville; four sisters, Helen Biltx, Mary Richardson, Anita Lauck and Clara Schneider, all of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

he was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Ross (Betty) Smith; four sisters and one brother.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
