Wayne Franklin Linkous, age 76, of Christiansburg died, Monday, October 10, 2022, at his home.
He was born in Montgomery County, Va on February 6, 1946, to the late Ralph and Annie Mae Kanode Linkous.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Buck Linkous, and Roger Linkous; sisters, Betty Linkous, Arlene Reed, Carolyn Linkous, Faye Pyles, and Teresa Redd.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Joyce B. Linkous; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Dawn Linkous; grandchildren, Sheridan Bishop; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Johnny Puckett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 1:30 P.M. in the Sunset Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, Va.
