Billie Linda Brimhall Abington Durbin, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Billie was born on May 14, 1945, in Tacoma Pierce, Washington to Gerald Wheeler Brimhall and Nina Lillian Simmonds Brimhall. She grew up in Parkland and Tacoma, Washington and Glendale and Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from Glendale High School in 1963.

On March 20, 1964, she married Byron Thomas Abington in Tacoma, Washington. To this union, two daughters were born: Vickie and Kimberly. She also lived in Glendale, Phoenix, and Taylor, Arizona, where she worked at the Silvercreek Pharmacy for 11 years. She lived in St. Louis, Missouri, and retired to Idaho Falls, Idaho. Byron passed away on December 3, 1997. On November 12, 2004, she married Larry Durbin.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various positions some of which were as Relief Society President, Primary President, Young Women's advisor.

Billie loved to bowl and was on a league for one summer. She enjoyed socializing and visiting with others. She loved to crochet, sew, and making all types of crafts.

Billie was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She served in her callings with all she had and she lived her life to the fullest.

She is survived by her daughters: Vickie Ann (Chris) Erhard of St. Louis, Missouri and Kimberly Jay (David) Foster of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her sister, Phyllis Evelyn Irwin of Iowa; her brother, John Brimhall of Littleton, Colorado; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Byron Thomas Abington; her second husband, Larry Durbin; her parents, Nina Lillian and Gerald Wheeler Brimhall; and her sister, Donna Joan Foster.

Services will be held at a later date in May in Idaho Falls. Graveside services will be in Snowflake, Arizona. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Online condolences may be sent to www.coltrinmortuary.com.
