Clyde Bennett of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away on October 4, 2022.

He is predeceased by his mother Mary Bennett, father Wade Bennett, brothers Wade Jr and Tom Bennett, and sisters Kaye Bennett and Nancy Grane.

He is survived by his brother Joe Bennett, sisters Patricia Winner and Sister Carolyn Bennett, IHM as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews as well as one great grand nephew.

Clyde was a member of the class of 1976 at Rock Hill High. Growing up he played soccer and baseball and in his early adult years began following Nascar and Carolina Football. In fact, he enjoyed and followed these hobbies his entire life. He attended Winthrop University where he played soccer.

In his early adult years, Clyde had a beloved dog, Magic that was his pride and joy. Of his numerous occupations, his final place of employment was Creative Industries Factors, Inc Landscape Products (C.I.F.).

His love for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and Carolina Panthers were evident in his conversations and decorative regalia. He is fondly remembered for his sense of humor and meeting all of life's challenges and joys with a smile, chuckle, and quick witted joke.

Graveside service will be held on October 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Grandview Memorial Park 620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732

Deacon Ray Moore will be speaking.

Family will be receiving friends at there home after the graveside service
